Composition:
The composition includes rifampicin with a mass fraction of 1%, polymyxin with an activity of 10 million units/100 ml.
Indications:
Polymyxin is active mainly against gram-negative bacteria (Salmonella, Shigella, E. coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Pasteurella). Another antibiotic of the drug, rifampicin, inhibits the growth and development of many gram-positive microorganisms (streptococci and staphylococci, including those resistant to the action of other antibiotics), as well as some gram-negative bacteria (Pasteurella, Escherichia, Proteus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa).
The drug is produced in glass bottles of 100, 200, 400 ml, in polyethylene containers of 100, 500, 1000, 2000, 3000 and 5000 ml.
